Terms and conditions.
At Black Gold Driving School, we strive to provide the best possible learning experience for all our Pupils. Please review our policies below:
Cancellations Block booking and Pay-on-the-day
Cancellation Policy: Pupils are permitted to cancel or reschedule their driving lessons without incurring a penalty, provided they inform the instructor at least 24 hours in advance.
Cancellation Policy: Pupils are allowed to cancel sessions within reasonable limits under this policy. Nonetheless, should a Pupil cancel two times consecutively or to fail to demonstrate commitment, the instructor reserves the right to decline further instruction. In cases where an advanced block booking payment has been made, a refund will be issued in accordance with this policy.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations are considered “late” when the Pupil does not cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled driving lesson. Late cancellations will result in the Pupil being charged a fee of £50.00. Payment due within 48 Hours from their scheduled lesson time.
Missed Appointment Notice: Should the instructor arrive at the scheduled driving lesson location and the Pupil is not present, a fee of £50.00 will be incurred by the Pupil. Additionally, an advance payment of £70.00 for the subsequent lesson will be required. Payment should be made within 48 hours. The instructor retains the right to decline further instruction to the Pupil.
Instructor Cancellation Policy: In the event that the driving instructor needs to cancel a scheduled driving lesson, you will be promptly notified, and arrangements will be made to reschedule. Should the Pupil choose not to reschedule after making an advance payment, a full refund will be issued in accordance with this policy.
Refund
Block Booking Refund: If a pupil wishes to discontinue driving lessons with Black Gold Driving School Ltd or change instructors, any unused block booking money will first be deducted in accordance with this policy. Refunds will be issued based on pay-on-the-day pricing.
Refund: Refunds will be processed utilizing the same payment method employed for the original transaction. Please allow up to 14 days for processing from the notification date.
Promotional Offers: The free lesson cannot be exchanged for cash and is only for this driving course. It will expire after 3 months. The instructor or Black Gold Driving School Ltd can cancel this offer at any time according to the rules set out here.
Fee Waiver: We reserve the right, at our discretion, to waive any fee or penalty assessed hereunder for any reason we deem sufficient and reasonable.
Pupil lessons Policy
Speeding Fines: Black Gold Driving School Ltd and the instructor are not responsible for any speeding fines that happen during lessons. However, we do take on most of the risk and responsibility during driving lessons.
Lost or damaged Valuables: Please keep valuables to a minimum during driving lessons. Black Gold Driving School Ltd and the instructor are not responsible for any lost or damaged items.
Pay-on-the-day Pupils: Please make payment at least within 24 Hours before your Driving lesson.
Lesson Booking: At the end of each lesson, the instructor will ask when you are available next week. Please try to be flexible. If you don’t book a lesson and share your availability later in the week, you may not find an open time slot because there are a lot of requests. We will always do our best to fit you in.
Hey, just a heads up! If you haven’t been to your driving lessons in the last 30 days after your last test or lesson, you might not be able to take more lessons or use the instructor’s car for your driving test.
DVSA Examiners Zero Tolerance: Black Gold Driving School Ltd is adopting a zero-tolerance approach in accordance with the DVSA regarding physical and verbal assaults on its instructors or DVSA examiners. Both the DVSA and Black Gold Driving School Ltd actively report abusers to the police and seek the strongest possible penalties.
